Say Tartarean Desire: 'Cold inside' is the first effort put on CD by the German one-man band Wolfthorn, after a MCD called 'Spiritual Supremacy'. This is pure black metal which could be labelled as unrelenting and restless without any kind of doubt, for it´s intense and powerful throughout all the recording. Forget about cheesy keyboards or melodic extravaganzas, here there´s no peace for the listener, no female voices, no synths. Darkthrone is the main reference here, since the vocal registers to the guitar lines, quite focused in long repetitive notes sequences in the vein of Nocturno and Fenriz classic songs.
