Ethereal Ambient & surreal soundscapes featuring the voice of Elisabeth Toriser. DARGAARD is a two person outfit from Austria. The first member, Tharen hails from a predominantly Black Metal background (ABIGOR, AMESTIGON,DOMINION III, HEIDENREICH, GRAUMAHD) and Elisabeth Toriser also has a notable Black Metal background (ABIGOR, ANTICHRISIS, DOMINION III, SOULHUNT, GRAUMAHD). The vocals are sung in Latin and ancient Greek with the lyrics being taken from original ancient writings. What is interesting is that Elisabeth actually did vocal arrangements and research for the adaptation of the antiquated lyrics. "In Nomine Aeternitatis" (In the name of Eternity) is the second chapter of, what is widely considered the "Dargaard trilogy". The theme lyrically revolves around the concept of eternity, time and death.
